jobless and lost in suburbia

i never pictured myself unemployed after college. i know that might sound kind of egotistical but i guess i just imagined that i would find a job soon after graduating and grow in that job for i dont know.. at least a few years. fortunately i found that dream job, but then realized it wasn't my dream anymore.

even though i kept feeling like i was failing and giving up on myself, i know that that is not true. once i realized that i was not 100% happy with where i was or what i was doing or really anything, i knew i had to do something about it. which leads us to the present.
i am a 23 year old living with my parents, doing random odd jobs for quick money, interviewing all over the place and trying to figure out what it is that i want to do.

if someone were to ask me out of anything what would i want to do, no financial or other constraints... i would want to own my own business with one or two friends doing the things that we love - crafting and creating. i love art, i love crafty things, i love designing things but not in a corporate environment. now if only i had a financial backer so that i could actually do this! i do know that one day, even if it takes awhile to get there, i will own a business with people that i trust and love and will live this "dream" life.

when "grown-ups" tell you that you can do anything you want you just have to go for it, its true but with a grain of salt. now that i am in the so called real world, i know that you can follow your dreams, but it isn't always as simple as you may think.
